The coronavirus (or COVID-19) pandemic continues to spread all across the world. The situation in Pakistan is still precarious as more and more cases of the deadly virus get reported daily. Many major celebrity figures have revealed that they tested positive for the coronavirus. Recently, the latest public figure to test positive for COVID-19 was renowned fashion designer Maheen Khan.
The popular designer tested positive on June 8. The Pakistani designer’s fans and followers as well as the world of fashion were shocked at the revelation. However, there is good news as Maheen took to her social media on Twitter to reveal that she is now fever-free.

“Dear friends I tested positive for COVID-19 on the 8th of June. Alhamdulillah I am fever free today. Allah is kind,” reads her tweet.

No more PIA for Maheen Khan
Earlier to her announcement of testing positive for the coronavirus, Maheen Khan took to Twitter and announced that she will never fly with PIA.
The designer expressed her anger and disappointment at the airline after the PK-8303 crash.
“Shameful disregard for lives…. as seen in the way the bereaved families are being treated after the crash,” she said.
Maheen is one of the most prominent figures in Pakistan’s fashion industry. The popular designer made waves when she designed special dresses for the duchess Kate Middleton during the Royal Family’s visit to Pakistan last year.
