Turkish actress Esra Bilgiç aka Halime Sultan explored her range as an actor with action-thriller Ramo. The series cast Esra opposite the lead Murat Yıldırım, who plays the titular character. Wanting to see more of the actress after binge-watching Dirilis Ertugrul, many of Esra’s fans now follow her current crime drama.

Ramo follows the story of a gangster that overthrows his boss Cengiz, in order to get the little guy a bigger share of the profits. The thing is the woman Ramo is in love with, Sibel is Cengiz daughter. In his war to climb to the top he ends up killing Cengiz.
This leaves him in a battle to protect his loved ones, become the mob boss and deal with his feelings for Sibel.
