As inflation reaches record highs in Pakistan, even Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stalwart Hamza Ali Abbasi is on the fence about voting for PTI.
The Pyarey Afzal actor has been a staunch supporter of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI). Especially during the 2018 general elections. With the 2023 general elections not too far away, his recent statements are surprising.
When a Netizen directed his grievances about Imran Khan at the Mann Mayal actor, he shared how he’s on the fence about voting for PTI next term.
Replying to a Netizen’s comment the Waar actor said that he is evaluating the ruling party’s performance. Admitting that the government couldn’t put a cap on inflation.
“I am also evaluating their performance and will see by the end of their term whether i should vote for them or not. Abhee takk its 50/50. Some things are very good like foreign policy but other things not so good like inflation and mehngaayee. Lets see, only 2 years to go.”
In a recent interview, the Parwaaz Hai Junoon actor voiced how he doesn’t know who he would vote for if the current government failed to deliver.
On the work front, Hamza Ali Abbasi was last seen in Alif. The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani star quit the biz to focus on his religious identity.
Since then he has been working on a book. Earlier this year the actor shared that he has penned the first draft of the book. This suggests we can look forward to a book release soon enough.
