In a recent interview with Glosset, the Meher Aur Meherbaan actor opened up about fellow actors he admired. Without skipping a beat, Ali Abbas named Ahmed Ali Akbar.
The Mere Apnay star shared how he thinks Ahmad Ali Akbar has given a superlative performance in Parizaad. The Kitni Girhain Baki Hain star shared how he’s happy that underrated actors like him are now getting leading roles in mainstream projects.
He added that at the time of Ehd-e-Wafa there was noise caused by the public about the Laal Kabotaar star being sidelined in production with bigwigs. The play starred bigger names like Osman Khalid Butt and star kid Ahad Raza Mir. Audiences felt that Ahmed’s Sheheryar and Wahaj’s Shariq were being sidelined.
The 2020 blockbuster drama, Ehd-e-Wafa later did give more screen time to Sheheryar and Shariq towards the end. Though many fans felt they missed out on more from these two protagonists.
Aside from singing praises for Ahmed, the Fitrat star also mentioned that he is the biggest Naumaan Ijaz fan. He shared how he takes inspiration from the Baba-e-Award‘s performances. Particularly from his performance in Mera Saeen.
