The very talented Pakistani actor Sarwat Gillani was recently spotted having a fan moment with the veteran Bollywood star Neetu Kapoor in Dubai. She bumped into Kabhi Kabhi star along with her stylist friend Rao Ali.
Neetu Singh Kapoor is an Indian actress who is known for appearing in Hindi films throughout the late 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s. In 1980, she married actor and frequent collaborator Rishi Kapoor, which lasted until his death in 2020. With Kapoor, she had two children. Her son, Ranbir Kapoor is a top-notch actor of Bollywood currently.
She later made her acting comeback with a minor role in the comedy film Love Aaj Kal (2009), and has recently led the comedy film Do Dooni Chaar (2010), which won her a Zee Cine Award. In 2020, she began filming for Jug Jugg Jeeyo opposite Anil Kapoor, also starring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani.
The Churails star also coincidently met the most celebrated director of Bollywood Karan Johar at the international airport in Rome. Netizens trolled the couple for their starstruck fan moment. In response of which she expressed her rage in a tweet and said,
“To all the haters out there stop following me if you hate me so much”
Later then in Ahsan Khan’s show Time Out with Ahsan Khan, the couple Sarwat Gillani and Fahad Mirza cleared the air and said,
“The post was done in extreme grief when people severely criticized us on taking a picture with Karan Johar. We took picture as a fan with him when we saw him on the airport in Rome”
The dermatologist further added,
“When we said to him that give some message for the fans in Pakistan, he felt hesitant for a split second. Because he himself was facing bashing in India because of Fawad Khan. But still he gave a message with a smile”
