The drama revolves around a life of a recently widowed woman called Mehru (Hadiqa Kiani). Mehru belongs to an affluent family. Over the course of the story, we see her falling for a man much younger than her, named Maahir (Bilal Abbas).

“Hadiqa G didn’t want to slap me in the scene but the director and I said it is okay you should go as the scene is written. So to shoot the scene she had to slap me 3 to 4 times and after that, for 2 days she kept saying sorry to me. And even when the scene on-aired she again texted me to apologize.”
