Live catwalk shows resumed after the worldwide lockdown. London Fashion Week 2022 happened to showcase the latest collections of popular and up-and-coming young designers. But one designer Richard Quinn caught the traction of all the Muslims out there because of his Burqa-inspired collection.

Richard Quinn’s London Fashion Week February 2022 collection was a showcase of florals and a re-imagining of classic outerwear. He called his collection, a love letter to silhouette and craft’.

Fashion week kicked off by showcasing a number of breathtaking pieces that felt inspired by the Burqa and took the internet by storm. Netizens seem to have mixed views about his collection. Some think it is pure hypocrisy while some think it is a good way to promote the positivity of the hijab.
