While many make-up artists are speaking up against a particular diva, writer and artist Yasra Rizvi is opening up about having enough of actors and their diva antics.
The Malika-e-Aaliya actress posted how she is tired of ‘divas and their antics’. Even adding that if the issue persists she will end up quitting acting and directing. The writer and director lamented how she can’t put up with the non-serious behavior anymore.
“I am very serious about my work and I am also very sick of this new wave of unprofessional and self proclaimed STARS. To the extent that I’ll quit acting or direction completely if I have to deal with one more barely talented unethical diva.”
While using harsh words such as ‘barely talented unethical diva’ to describe these actors, the Dunk actress asserted that she is not generalizing everyone with a blanket statement. She is only specifically referring to those that are difficult to work with.
“If you are not one, this isn’t about you so please don’t go on about how everyone is not the same, I know.”
Further digging into the lack of professionalism and work ethic,
Common courtesy and work ethic have left the building. They have no respect for the work itself, they don’t put in any effort into learning about the actual craft lekin baatain bohat aati hain is baare mein kerni (they sure know how to talk a lot about it), they are bloody late on set most of the time AND keep canceling dates for effing Dubai trips ruining the schedule of anyone who is stupid enough to work with them.”
Yasra Rizvi ended her long monologue with quite a bite saying;
“Wtf? Make up kerwa lo inse buss photos khinchwa lo. Enough!”
In the past, writer and actor Muhammad Ahmed lamented about how nepotism has led to a lack of professionalism in the biz as there are fewer and fewer artists there for the craft.
