After Dananeer’s ‘Pawri Ho Rahi Hai’ the new rhetorical catchphrase is making rounds in the entire country. Bilawal Bhutto is famous for his flimsy Urdu, and time and time again he keeps on making such hilarious statements that catch fire and open the flood gates for the troll army. This time around his slip of the tongue has become a new fad in town. ‘Kaanpein Taang Rahi Hein’ has become an iconic slogan these days and people are in fits.
The PPP leader was speaking at the rally in Islamabad on Tuesday night to mark the culmination of a 10-day Awami March. He meant to say ‘tangein kamp rahi hain’, but instead what came out was ‘kanpein tang rahi hein’. His slip of tongue launched a thousand (or more) memes.
Not just memesters but the public and celebrities are also enjoying the funny statement. Celebrities and politicians are tweeting as well as making videos with Bilawal Bhutto’s voice in the background.
