Iqra Aziz is one of the popular star in the Pakistani showbiz industry. Although the actress is on ‘mommy duty’ with her newborn son, Iqra Aziz does not plan on slowing down anytime soon as she is ready to get back to work.
Recently, Iqra sat down for an interview with FUCHSIA. The Suno Chanda talks about her experience of motherhood as well as her rough childhood that made her who she is today.
Iqra Aziz comes from a close-knit neighborhood in Karachi. The Qurban star grew up in Saddar. She had a strained relationship with her father, whom she lost at the age of 14-15. Growing up without a father, Iqra picked up ‘street smarts’ to deal with people more confidently. The 24-year-old used to roam around the streets of Saddar.
“I grew up going out into the streets in Ramazan and playing on rides because the area is so busy,” Iqra shares. “I have spent my life there, and my mother and grandmother had also lived their whole lives in the area. We lived there for over 30 years. Everyone knew us… I am so thankful that I got to live that life. I know how to be street smart and I know how to deal with people.”
