Netizens troll actor and TV show host Ahsan Khan over his accent. An old video clip of the Time Out host referring to himself as a ‘British-Asian’ living ‘here and there’ has spawned some hilarious memes on social media.
Ahsan Khan is one of the most popular Pakistani celebrities in showbiz. The film star, TV actor, producer, host, and performer has been part of the entertainment industry for quite some time. Since 1998, Ahsan has appeared in films such as Nikah, Billi, Ghar Kab Aao Gay, Sultanat and Ishq Khuda, Dil Mera Dharkan Teri. He later moved on to TV, starring in several hit drama serials. Currently, Ahsan Khan is the host of the talk show Time Out.
Recently, netizens dug out an old interview clip of Ahsan from the 2017 Asian Achiever’s Awards at the extravagant Grosvenor House in Mayfair, London. The netizens have some fun, trolling the actor’s accent on social media as the video clip goes viral.
Ahsan’s parents are Pakistanis, however, the Time Out host has the distinction to have been born in London. A point that the actor wants everyone to know. Thus, throughout the interview, Ahsan refers to himself as a ‘British-Asian actor’ who lives “here and there” not just in Pakistan. But, he “mostly” works for the Pakistani showbiz industry.
