Veteran actor Nauman Ijaz faces backlash for his sexist behavior towards guest Ayesha Omar on his talk show G Sardar. Fans are not happy with the Parizaad actor questioning Ayesha on opening up about her sexual harassment.
Nauman Ijaz is a Pakistani television and film actor as well as a TV anchorperson and TV show presenter. He has played several roles and has been a senior actor on state Television PTV since 1988. In 2012, the Dunk star received a Pride of Performance award from the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari.
The veteran actor has his very own talk show G Sarkar. Recently, the Parizaad star invited actress, singer and model Ayesha Omar to his talk show. Though, the interview began normally, it became awkward as Nauman started asking intrusive questions. Nauman Ijaz got a lot of flak for making Ayesha Omar uncomfortable.
The Bulbulay star is a bold diva, who doesn’t shy away from speaking her mind. Nauman began my asking her if she does ‘bold’ photoshoots or statements intentionally to create controversy.
“I try to bring the truth to the forefront and be authentic,” Ayesha responds.
The G Sardar cited his line of questioning by bringing up her statements on sexual harassment which visibly made Ayesha uncomfortable. Even though the Bulbulay star does her best to explain why people need to speak up about harassment, but Nauman brushed it away. The host changed topics, commenting on Ayesha’s dressing.
