The famous K-pop star Daud Kim formerly known as Jay Kim performed Umrah for the first time after converting to Islam in 2019. He claims that he is the luckiest guy on the planet.
A popular South Korean pop singer and YouTuber Jay Kim, made a surprise announcement of changing his faith to Islam, leaving thousands of his fans in shock. He took to his YouTube channel and disclosed the pleasant news to the world. He changed his name from Jay to Daud Kim.
He learned about Islam when he was in a stage of life where he lost all his motivation and did not have peace of mind. During this period he met with many Muslims and stated that he felt a special connection that he never felt before. The former singer also revealed that he read the Quran and found comfort in it. It helped him cure his depression.
Recently Daud Kim shared his amazing clicks from the holy city of Makkah with a heartfelt caption. He penned down,
“Finally I came to Makkah. I am the luckiest person because Allah (SWT) chose me and He brought me here. Masha Allah,”
Being grateful for the opportunity, he further added
“Thanks to Allah, thanks for giving me the chance to come to the holiest city in the world. I prayed for all the Muslim brothers and sisters. May Allah forgive our sins and accept our Duas.”
