Looks like the ‘Kaanpain Taang Rahi Hain’ meme is still running as ARY Digital even made a telefilm about the viral moment.
ARY Digital is making comedy telefilm titled ‘Kaanpain Taang Rahi Hain’ for Eid-ul-Fitr. Produced by Zeeshan Khan and TNI Productions, the telefilm is being directed by Mazhar Moin. While Mansoor Ahmed Khan penned the script for the Eid special telefilm.
The cast for the comedy Eid telefilm includes Aijaz Aslam, Sahiba Rambo, and Hina Dilpazeer. While talking to Dawn Images, Aijaz Aslam shared details about the film. He revealed that the telefilm will follow a married woman who wishes to become rich by any possible means.
Despite trying various ideas, she is yet to see success.
“She involves the whole family and later some issue or the other arises. In the end, there’s a man who is distributing money among widows so she turns to her husband — my character — and says ‘Make me a widow.”
In the end, she does get what she wants but at what cost. Lollywood actress Sahiba will be the one playing the central character.
“The man dies but before dying he leaves Rs1 crore in her name so eventually they some have [money]”
Just weeks ago, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) members of the provincial assembly (MPAs) tried to troll Bilawal Bhutto with ‘Kaanpain Taang Rahi Hain‘.
The PTI MPAs from Sindh screamed ‘Kanpain Tang Rahi Hain’ in an attempt to make fun of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman. This is a reference to a previous slip of the tongue by the Sindhi politician who struggles with local languages other than his fluent English.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto struggles with his Urdu pronunciation and lack of vocabulary to express complex thoughts in the language. Although this is understandable for a second/third language, he often gets ridiculed for this.
The most recent example of him being trolled for this is the ‘Kaanpain Taang Rahi Hain’ memes. Bilawal was speaking at the rally in Islamabad to mark the culmination of a 10-day Awami March. His slip of the tongue turned into a hilarious moment.
