The release date for Jemima Goldsmith’s ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It?‘ is out and we’re all hyped up about it.
As per Studio Canal, Jemima Goldsmith’s film venture will hit theaters on January 27, 2023.

We got our first look at the film back in December last year. The image teased a look at Cinderella star Lily James and Star Trek: Discovery famed Shehzad Latif.
Much like the name suggests, the film is a romantic comedy. However, this will be a cross-cultural romance. Set in London and Lahore, the film follows Zoe’s (Lily James) experience while making a documentary on her friend Kazim’s (Shehzad Latif) arranged marriage journey.
According to the Daily Mail, the Goldsmith heiress was inspired by her marriage to the former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan to make this film.
The What’s Love Got To Do With It? cast includes names like Lily James, Shazad Latif, Emma Thompson, Shabana Azmi, Mim Shaikh, Asim Chaudhry, and Jeff Mirza. The film will also star Khel Khel Mein starlet Sajal Aly.
Aside from handling production, Jemima Goldsmith also penned the script for the project, Meanwhile, Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur directed the movie. This marks her debut film production under the banner of her company Instinct Production.
It was previously reported that the movie’s motion-picture soundtrack also features a soundtrack by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. He reportedly recorded two songs for the film and will also make an appearance in it.
