The holy month of Ramadan has always been a special time for Muslims, as it is a time for spiritual reflection, devotion, and increased acts of worship.
And for those fortunate enough to make the journey to Makkah, it is an even more special time as they perform Umrah in the Grand Mosque.
This year, more than 19 million pilgrims visited the Grand Mosque during Ramadan, and the Saudi Arabian government has left no stone unturned in providing high-quality services to them.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has been working tirelessly to ensure that every pilgrim feels comfortable, safe, and spiritually fulfilled during their visit.
From the distribution of Zamzam water to the cleaning and sterilization of the Grand Mosque, every aspect of the service has been carefully planned and executed.
The use of cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) applications has also been instrumental in providing pilgrims with high-quality services, particularly during the month of Ramadan.
The dedication and commitment of the department’s Director General, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, and his team of experts, have been truly remarkable.
The provision of social assistance to more than 900,000 congregations is a testament to the department’s unwavering commitment to serving the needs of the pilgrims.
The beauty of Islam lies in its ability to bring people together from all corners of the world, united in their devotion to Allah.
And the Grand Mosque in Makkah is a symbol of this unity, a place where Muslims come together to perform Umrah and strengthen their bond with their faith and with one another.
The Saudi Arabian government’s efforts in ensuring the comfort and safety of the pilgrims are a reflection of the Islamic values of hospitality, compassion, and service. And it is heartening to see that these values are being upheld even in the midst of a global pandemic.
As we reflect on the significance of Ramadan and the journey of Umrah, let us also take a moment to appreciate the hard work and dedication of the Saudi Arabian government and the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques in making this experience a memorable one for all the pilgrims.
May Allah bless them and accept the prayers and worship of all the pilgrims who have visited the Grand Mosque during this holy month.
