An elderly man, claiming to be 110 years old, took the plunge into matrimony for the fourth time, a mere 10 days after a 90-year-old man named Zakarya Baba from the same area had also walked down the aisle.

Reported by 24NewsHD TV channel, the scene captured attention and admiration as Baba Abdul Hanan Swati, the groom, embarked on his fourth marital journey. At the age of 110, he defied convention and followed his heart to find companionship once again.

Interestingly, the elder son of the groom, who is himself over 70 years old, boasts a family tree brimming with descendants, amounting to a total of 84 members including six sons, six daughters, and numerous grandsons and granddaughters.

The nikah ceremony was officiated by Qari Muhammad Arshad at a local mosque, where the sacred bond was sealed with a Haq Mehr (dowry) of Rs5,000. Amid the solemn proceedings, the groom’s bride, a 55-year-old woman hailing from Alai Battagram, joined hands with her lifelong partner.

The significance of the event was enhanced by the presence of the groom’s children, who attended the wedding to share in the joyous occasion. The celebration was captured on video, and the images of the bride adorned in jewelry have since gone viral.

The union between two souls with a substantial age gap demonstrates that love is not bound by years but rather kindled by the connection that transcends age, backgrounds, and societal norms.
