This Eid-ul-Adha, cinema lovers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and beyond have much to look forward to, as three new Pashto films are set to hit the big screen.
Filmmaker and actor Arbaaz Khan, who stars as the hero in all three productions, has expressed strong optimism about the films’ potential to attract viewers.
He highlighted the quality production, engaging dialogues, talented casts, scenic locations, and soulful music as key features that will appeal to audiences. Khan also noted the profitability of Pashto films and hopes these new releases will play a major role in reviving the industry this Eid.
Among the films is Dedan, directed by Qaiser Sanober, which is already generating buzz for its storytelling and visuals.
The other film is Hashnaghar k Malangi, Pekhawar k Badmashi, directed by Arshad Khan. Rounding out the trio is Zoye da Azari, directed by Shahid Usman.
Despite facing various challenges, Pashto filmmakers and artists have shown remarkable resilience, ensuring that regional cinema continues to entertain and inspire.
