Women tolerate the abusive behavior because they are financially dependent. In a relationship, it is important for a woman to be financially independent. I believe that a financially independent woman never bears the mistreating of her husband
His wife, Hiba Bukhari, added, “I feel simply financial independence is not enough for women’s protection because most women have to confront harsh views owing to their high salaries, and they have to put in more work to safeguard their houses”.

While supporting her husband’s viewpoint, the Deewangi actress stated that “people do not let their daughters be financially independent because they fear it would make them arrogant. A woman’s financial independence ensures security. That has nothing to do with them being arrogant,” she continued.
