Adnan Sami has been spewing venom against Pakistan, all in the service of trying to prove his loyalty to India, ever since he became an Indian national.
Case in point, he has been voicing his support to the Modi government’s moves, including the recent scrapping of Article 370 for Kashmir. Its a move that many Bollywood celebrities did not approve of but we can understand what Adnan Sami is doing it for i.e. to please Hindu nationalists.

The BBC Interview with Azaan
Recently, his son Azaan Sami Khan, during an interview with BBC Asian Network, was quizzed about his father’s stance regarding the ongoing Kashmir conflict. The young film producer replied that he has never spoken about it.
“As far as I’m concerned, the reason why I’ve never really spoken about it before has been because he’s my father. I love him, I respect him,” he stated.
Despite trying his best to move Azaan Sami Khan to India, the youngster has choose to stay in Pakistan and call it home.
Azaan’s interview deserves to be watched in full:
“He’s made certain decisions of where he wants to live and which country he chooses to call home and I respect that. What I choose to call home is now my choice and I want to work in Pakistan.”
On Pakistan
Regarding his work in Pakistan showbiz industry, Azaan says that reminds him of home.
“I have amazing friends [in India]. I’ve lived a lot of my life there – my teen years particularly – but Pakistan is my home. I feel like the industry in Pakistan is my family. There’s an immense pride for me and hope and ambition, that I could contribute to an industry which I call home.”
Talking about his relationship with his father, Azaan Khan said that his relationship with his father is more of a mentor and friend.

“My father is more of a mentor, somebody with whom I seek advice about my work. We had a strange topsy turvy relationship, I haven’t spent much time with him and for that reason, our relationship is more of a friend or a mentor.”
Azaan Sami Khan was all praise for his mother, the legendary Zeba Bakhtiar. He credited his mother for all the success he has achieved in his life
“My mother is a very disciplined, true and patriotic woman. Whatever I am today, is because of her,” Azaan Khan concluded.
On the professional front, Azaan Khan recently composed and performed music for the Superstar. The movie includes Mahira Khan and Bilal Ashraf in the lead cast. It has done quite good at the box office.
