Adnan Siddiqui is an international star and all of his projects have always proven to be successful. While we may know him as one of the pioneers of Pakistani entertainment, the actor has equally played his part in Bollywood and Hollywood.
He is indeed a superstar and so many aspiring actors look up to him as their idol. Adnan Siddiqui was recently a guest on Choti Car Bara Star, where the host Sarah Ajmal took him on a ride and asked interesting questions.
During the interview, he was asked about his experience and the difference he felt while working in Lollywood, Hollywood and Bollywood.
He said when it comes to Hollywood, the industry produces original content, Bollywood copies Hollywood and unfortunately, Lollywood copies Bollywood. However, there is a similarity between all these industries and that is the producers share the same traits.
Adnan Siddiqui recalls Sridevi’s death
Speaking about his project, Mom, the actor said he had heard great things about filmmaker Boney Kapoor and he realized that he is indeed a great person while working with him.
The Meray Paas Tum Ho actor was then asked about his co-star and Bollywood icon Sridevi and how he dealt with her sudden death. He said,
“I was actually in Dubai at that time. Boney Kapoor had invited me as a guest at his nephew’s wedding. I was on my way to see him and then I was informed of Sridevi’s death. I was probably one of the first people to reach there and comfort him. He was grieving and it also came as a shock for me. It all happened overnight, I just met her the night before.”
