After Strawberry Biryani, Broast Biryani with Boiled Egg Goes Viral

Would you try this?

Have you ever imagined the combination of a boiled egg with biryani? Do you feel a sudden ache in your heart just after reading this? We felt it too when we came across this weird combination on a food group on Facebook and our instant reaction was ‘Not again!’

A restaurant in Karachi actually offered this strange combination of egg with Broast Biryani which left people aghast. While some laughed, others thought this was an insult for Karachities.

Here’s the picture of the questionable combo:

Reaction to the Egg Biryani combination

People deemed this as the funeral of the ever-so-famous Broast Biryani of Karachi.

Others straight away sent the inventors of this dish to hell.

Clearly, the true fans of Broast Biryani disapproved of this behaviour and demanded justice for their dear dish.

And then there was a very intelligent person who beautifully summed up this combination and the intention behind it.

Some weird food combinations

If you think this combination is gross then you might be a bit more surprised. Some people have a penchant for Meethe Chawal and Achar, the amalgamation of sweet and sour taste is pretty appealing for foodies. Another one is popcorn with ketchup and we just don’t have words to describe our feelings about it. Oh and not to forget Roti with Rice, like why would anybody want to eat both at the same time?

Have you tried Strawberry Biryani yet?

It seems that the people of Pakistan are becoming super creative or say, overambitious with their food choices. Just a few days back we came across the Strawberry Biryani. The dish was invented by Digital Evangelist, Saad Hamid and it had the internet in fits. Now with the discovery of Boiled Egg with Broast Biryani, the level of food experimentation has gone a notch higher.

No matter how many variations of Biryani emerge, we still think that it will always rule the hearts of people. Whether it is with egg or without egg, nothing can beat the true taste of Karachi’s famous Broast Biryani.
