Mahira Khan is no longer the most followed Pakistani celebrity on Instagram, as the young actress Aiman Khan has now overtaken her with more than six million followers on the popular social media platform.
It seems that Instagram followers determine status and relevancy for Pakistani actors and actresses these days. It comes as no surprise to see why so many of the actors do their best to be more relatable and connect with their fans on Instagram.
Some share exclusive behind-the-scenes pictures, and some share aesthetically pleasing photos in exotic locations. And then there are celebs who try their best to keep their fans entertained by sharing their day-to-day routine. Whatever the case, it seems to have worked for Aiman Khan as the Pakistani TV actress has reached six million followers. In the process, she has surpassed Mahira Khan as the most followed Pakistani celebrity on Instagram.
The Baandi actress reached six million followers on Wednesday. Last year, Mahira had become the first Pakistani star to reach the 5 million followers milestone on Instagram. However, not only has Aiman surpassed Mahira, she has become the first Pakistani showbiz star to reach six million followers on the photo-video sharing platform!
The Raees starlet is also nearing that milestone too as she has 5.9 million followers at the moment. Just behind her are actresses Ayeza Khan with 5.5 million and Marwa Hocane with 5.3 million followers. Aiman’s sister Minal Khan has also reached five million followers.
