Aiman Khan Reveals How She Shed Her Weight After Pregnancy [Video]

You are what you eat, apparently

Childbirth is a life-altering moment for women, and even Pakistani celebs aren’t immune to that. But a mother’s health matters too. Aiman Khan offers major goals with her journey getting back to a healthy weight after giving birth to Amal.

We should all know that child-birth will permanently change a woman’s body. From stretch marks to an overall change in fat distribution on the body. That shouldn’t deter anyone from striving to reach their weight-loss goal though.

Having a baby doesn’t mean one should neglect themselves while putting the child first. We should all be at a healthy weight regardless of age. However, the pressure on new mothers to get back to into shape is insane.

It’s never healthy to lose weight rapidly, so take it steady. Pakistani celebs offer good examples of how to take time to get back to a healthy weight after becoming a mother. Aiman Khan being the most followed celeb on Instagram is an obvious example.

Aiman Khan and Muneeb Butt were blessed with a baby girl a year into their marriage. The Ishq Tamasha actress previously shared the struggles of being a first-time parent and how her mother and twin sister Minal had gotten her through all this.

Amid the hassle of figuring out parenting for the first time, Aiman Khan still looked after her own health too. Now as her baby girl recently celebrated her first birthday, the Baandi actress is just about back to her pre-baby body.

Turns out cardio is the key. In an interview, the mother of one even shared her dieting tips. After all, you are what you eat.

“For weight loss, 90% is your diet. From 3-4 days I have started proper workout but before that, I used to do the treadmill for 40 minutes, … In my diet, I didn’t take rice, roti, fizzy drinks and sweet dishes.”
