Ali Azmat got married a little late as it wasn’t something he actually wanted in his life. In September 2011, the ex Junoon vocalist tied the knot with television producer Fariha Khan Chapra and together they have two daughters, Ella and Mia.
Like most of us, Ali used to think that marriage is just a hassle. When his father pressurized him to marry Fariha, Ali only agreed upon it because he thought as a working woman, she will be busy with her own life and won’t interfere in his. However, one year later, he realized that the life he was living was a lie.
Ali said that when his first daughter was born, he learned the meaning of true love. He also said that he now regrets not getting married early because he would have loved to have more kids which he thinks he can’t now. The friendship Ali Azmat shares with his wife has been the secret behind his successful married life.

Ali Azmat’s Profile
Ali Azmat is most famously known for being the vocalist of Sufi rock band Junoon. In 2001, Junoon became the first ever Pakistani band to perform at the United Nations General Assembly. After the release of their Infiniti album, Junoon disbanded.
After the disbandment of Junoon, Ali Azmat released his first solo album Social Circus in 2005, whose single Na Re Na became a major hit in the country. Since then, Ali has been actively working as a soloist in the music industry. In 2012, Ali stepped into the Bollywood for real and recorded two songs, Yeh Jism Hai Toh Kya and Maula for Jism 2.
In 2019, Junoon made a comeback after 13 years by performing at a concert in Karachi arranged by Sooper. The band recently performed in Dubai and on January 30th, they will be performing in Doha, Qatar.
