Ali Zafar’s Reacts to Amber Heard’s Defamation Settlement Announcement

He accused her of trying to destroy Johnny Depp’s career and life.

Pop star Ali Zafar shared his two cents on the latest development of the famous Hollywood’s Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s defamation case. The American actress announced that she will make a settlement of $1 million in a defamation case as she has lost faith in the American legal system and to spare herself from further trials.

After her announcement went viral, Ali Zafar opined on what he saw as irony, that after creating a massive ruckus and ruining her ex-husband’s career and image, she has opted for a ‘settlement’.

It is pertinent to mention that in 2018, Ali Zafar was also accused of sexual harassment, which he later denied and said that he would take the matter to court.

Their matter is still ongoing in court with no further updates as Meesha Shafi fails to appear in front of the court.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s Case

Johnny Depp had originally filed a $50 million defamation claim against Heard in March 2019 after she published an article in the Washington Post, in which she described herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse”.
