Alia Bhatt is finally speaking out about her break-up with Sidharth Malhotra. The timing is interesting to say the least, given how just days ago a video of current beau Ranbir fighting with her went viral.

All is well in paradise though as the two were together on Valentine’s Day.

Coming back to Alia and Sidharth, it seems that both of their stories about the break-up do not match.

Sidharth Malhotra vs Alia Bhatt

During his appearance on Koffee With Karan, Sidharth said the two have not met anytime after they broke up.

Alia, on the other hand, says that the two did meet up and it was ‘extremely normal.’

Here’s what Alia said after watching Sid’s segment on Koffee with Karan.

“Yes, I have watched the episode. Sid and I did meet actually.”

However, the Highway actress added that the stories not matching were due to time. She said that as Koffee with Karan episodes are taped prior to airing, she and Sidharth had not met up at that point.

She mentioned that she and Sidharth had met up very recently, so that probably explains the difference in their statements. The actress also mentioned how she has positive feelings for her ex, in the same interview with DNA India.

No Bad Blood Between the Ex-Lovers

She said that given their history, she has immense respect for Sidharth. She even wishes him well.

“Honestly, there will never be issues. I have nothing but just positivity in my heart for him. I’m sure he wishes the same as well. We have witnessed several milestones of our lives together. He spoke about meeting and chatting and we were fine. There are no bad vibes.”

Both Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra made their Bollywood debut together with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year. The two had been rumored to be dating since then. While they never made their relationship public, the break-up was no secret.

Alia Bhatt is the most successful among her Student of the Year counterparts. Currently, Alia’s Gully Boy has enjoyed a grand opening at the box office. She is also signed for Abhishek Verman’s Kalank, Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra and Karan Johar’s Takht.
