Time and again we have seen a lot of Cinderella stories hemmed into various dramas, and cliched topics are usually opted for and recreated. Taqdeer, an upcoming drama serial starring Alizeh Shah and Sami Khan, pretty much revolves around the hackneyed Cinderella story.
Nonetheless, its story and the teaser intrigued many and Taqdeer happens to top the list of the most anticipated dramas of the year.
Taqdeer is a tale of love and breakup and the twists and turns a woman has to face after marriage. The teaser also elaborates on the story of a young, pampered girl who is the apple of her parents’ eyes and is coddled by her family all the time. She ends up in a house where she is treated like a servant and is overburdened with house chores and duties.
The star cast features Sami Khan, Alizeh Shah, Zain Afzal, Asim Mehmood, Javed Sheikh, Bahroz Sabzwari, Maryam Noor, Alia Ali, and Khalid Anam.

Directed by Mohsin Talat, and produced by Dr. Ali Kazmi and Fahad Mustafa under the banner of Big Bang Entertainment, Taqdeer will be broadcasted on ARY Digital on 10 October 2022.
On the work front, Sami Khan is also starring in the drama Tinkay Ka Sahara alongsideHaroon Shahid, Sonia Hussain, and Rabab Hashim.
Alizeh Shah, however, will be seen on screen after a long hiatus post her controversies, rude behavior on set, and diva tantrums.
