The Turning Point in her Life
It was while reciting Surah Baqarah that Sanam had an epiphany as one of the verses struck a chord with her.
“When I recited Surah Baqarah, where it says, ‘Woh muslamaan tou hain par momin nahi [although they are Muslims they are not believers]’, I reflected on why I do not follow the teachings of Islam despite being a Muslim,” she said.
Sanam Chaudhry states the fact that people are hypocritical in their faith, as she includes herself.
