As we get to the last episode of the drama serial Amanat, things finally settle down and we see a happy ending to this love story.
Despite the idea that fans love a happy ending, Netizens aren’t pleased with how Zarrar (Imran Abbas) got away scot-free. Fans voiced how Zarrar was equally toxic and evil. So when he didn’t do right by anyone, why does he get a free pass?
On the other hand, people felt Zuni (Saboor Aly) was too negative but Pakistani dramas have a pattern of negative characters going crazy or dying in the end. While Netizens admit that it’s not necessary that all evil is punished, at least life is a process where human beings do change for good.
So why didn’t we see any character development for Zuni who was left alone and died in the end?
Overall, there are a lot of mixed feelings about the end.
While people are happy for Mehar (Urwa Hocane) and Zarrar ended up together, Mehar deserves better.
