Annie Khalid is Launching Pakistan’s First Curly Haircare Line

The pop diva has always rocked her curls, now you can too.

Curly-haired women are your ideal standard of beauty. Pop diva Annie Khalid has rocked her curls with aplomb, and now she’s helping others do that too.

One of the reasons why women turn to a straightening iron is to fix frizzy hair as required. The frizz control feature for curly hair can prove to be a life-saver. But what about those who are looking for less-bulky and portable alternatives to fixing frizzy hair days?

The local market lacks products for fine, wavy to curly hair but thanks to Annie, she’s got you covered. The songstress has launched a hair care line for curly hair.

Annie’s product line is called Curl PWR. The hair care line will initially offer hair oil, shampoo, conditioner and hair cream. These products will control frizz and maintain volume to keep your lion’s mane healthy, bouncy and well-kept.

Based on the label, the products are for all types of curly hair. Whether you have coarse curls, a tight wound mane or fine wavy hair, there’s everything for everyone.

As for when these products will become available, we have a date too. In a months time, Curl PWR products will line store shelves all the curly hair maidens out their.

You can check out their products here.

Curly Community in Pakistan

A lot of products that cater to a general audience are okay, but not that great. Based on everyone’s scalp and hair, our curls react differently to various products. Annie’s curly mane is always healthy and running free so we hope her products deliver the same.

Most of the curly haircare products sold in Pakistan are imported. Annie Khalid’s Curly PWR will be the first regional manufacturer of curly hair care products.

Contrary to popular belief, Pakistani women are not dead straight haired brown beauties that are exoticized by the West. They have a range of skin tones and hair textures.

In recent years, the curly hair community has been growing in South Asia, including Pakistan. Pakistan even has its’ own Devacurl trained and inspired stylist Komal Malik. The hair stylist has a curly mane herself and maintains a Facebook community Curl Talk Pakistan for Pakistani ladies with curly hair.
