Coronavirus has had everyone in Pakistan feeling a bit overwhelmed. Uncertainty and lockdowns are not everyone’s cup of tea.

Right now, we are seeing people deal with these difficult times in one of the two ways:

  • Panic – just look at the people who hoarded on groceries, and sold hand sanitizers for triple their prices.
  • Aid – all the NGOs and humanitarians helping out those who need their help the most.

While people were searching for a silver lining in this situation, an 88-year-old retired person restored everyone’s faith.

In response to your appeal, I submit herewith a cheque of a humble amount in face of unheard and dreadful epidemic.

Such acts of kindness strengthen our resolve to continue fighting this challenge, & reassure us that humanity stands tall during such extraordinary times!

We hope the nation understands the importance of taking precautionary actions against the virus. It is people like this retired person who is the most vulnerable to COVID-19.
