Bollywood actress Mehjabi Siddiqui who gained fame from the famous show Big Boss 11 decided to quit the world of showbiz and pursue her journey towards Islam. It is not the first time that the stars at the peak of their career decided to change paths. Before Mehjabi, the blockbuster movie Dangal star Zaira Wasim and Big Boss 6 contestant Sana Khan bid farewell to the industry.
The Big Boss famed star Mehjabi Siddiqui announced this news through her Instagram account. She said that she has embarked on a religious journey and will continue to wear hijab. She posted a long note explaining why she decided to leave this glamorous world.
The actress wrote,
“The reason I am writing this is that I was upset for 2 years. I did not know what to do in order to feel better. When someone commits a sin, the shame ends a short time later, but the bad deed remains until the end. I realized that I had forgotten my real life and the life hereafter, and was living this worldly life.”
She further added,
“You can never feel satisfied after disobeying God. Whatever you do to make people happy they will never appreciate you. So it’s better to spend your time persuading Allah which will be better for you and me in the world hereafter.”
The ex-Big Boss contestant also added that she was greatly inspired by Sana Khan who reverted to Allah after so much fame. She added she has been following her for a long time and her doings captivated her to learn more about Islam. In the end, she expressed the joy and satisfaction she gets from worshipping Allah. She said,
“I can’t express in words what satisfaction I got after repenting to Allah. The peace which I was looking for was in Namaz and ‘Ibadah’. So I have decided to be in Hijab, May Allah forgives my sins and grant me the ability to walk on the right path.”
