Anoushey Ashraf Takes Fans on an Enlightening Tour of Jordan [Videos]

From Petra to Jerash, Anoushey sets travel goals, exploring Jordan’s hidden gems.

Anoushey Ashraf has gone on a sightseeing trip to Jordan and shared her exciting experiences with her fans on social media.

The former VJ visited historic locations such as the ancient cities of Petra and Jerash as well as Mount Nebo, and the famous Dead Sea.

While most celebrities tend to share scenic pictures of their vacation without understanding its cultural significance, Anoushey decided to educate her fans by sharing fun facts and in-depth information about Jordan’s rich cultural heritage.

In one of her clips, Anoushey is seen exploring Petra with her friends. She provided a detailed description of the ancient city in the caption, mentioning its establishment by the Nabateans, explaining why Petra is referred to as the “Rose City”, and why it was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.

 

The actress certainly enjoyed her trip to the Dead Sea, sharing fun facts and even took a mud bath with her friends!

In another post, Anoushey visited Mount Nebo, which is part of the Abarim mountain range in Jordan. Anoushey also shared details about the serpentine cross sculpture atop Mount Nebo, created by Italian artist Gian Paolo Fantoni.

In the third post, Anoushey visited the ancient city of Jerash, which is one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside of Italy.

The history of Jerash goes back more than 6,500 years. It is located north of the country’s capital, Amman. Visitors marvel at the grand Roman columns, temples, amphitheaters, and other ruins at Jerash.

Anoushey’s trip to Jordan has been exciting and enlightening, and her social media posts have helped her fans and followers gain an insight into the rich cultural heritage of Jordan.
