The star behind the character, Areesha Sultan shared some interesting facts about Mirchi and revealed how her on-screen persona is different from her real life personality.
The child star was recently interviewed by Something Haute, where she shared some insights into her personal life.
Speaking about her character, Areesha mentioned that she is nothing like Mirchi. On camera, we see her moving around, brewing gossip, and hilariously roasting the people around her, but in real life, she is very calm. She avoids public gatherings and even doesn’t attend family gatherings.
Then how did she end up getting the role of the most mischievous kid around? The credit goes to Danish Nawaz, the director of the show.
“Danish uncle saw that spice in me, and he convinced me to play Mirchi.”
Speaking of which, did you know that she first denied the offer because of her exams? Here’s how it went.
“I never compromise on my exams and when Danish uncle approached, I was preparing for them. I refused the offer, but then exams got canceled due to COVID and the shoot was also postponed. Danish uncle somehow managed to convinced me and here I am.”
