The model turned actress recently shared the secret to her soft skin in winters. In an Instagram post Arij revealed that she makes her own lotion/ cream because none of the lotions available in the market have helped her with dry skin in winters.
“For years I’ve tried out different creams and lotions for dry skin in the winters until a few years back when I just started making my own!! Not is it only simple to make- it consists of simple ingredients from your kitchen. One more perk is that it also helps with tanned skin.”

She shared the method of making the mixture with her followers on her YouTube channel.
Surprisingly, it is as simple as she claims. And pocket friendly too. Just three ingredients and viola! You have your own moisturizing cream for body, as it is ‘too oily for the face.’
The proportion that you need to make this cream is 5 tbsp of vaseline, two tablespoons of olive oil and one teaspoon of lemon juice. Lemon juice is a great source of Vitamin C, while olive oil contains fatty acids that give a long term moisturizing effect. It is also loaded with powerful antioxidants that prevents your skin from environmental damage. Vaseline acts as an emollient and binds everything well.
Note
Always use an airtight container or your mixture can be infected with fungus. Also, try making a fresh batch every month or replace it after two months so you get the best results.
