Time and again we see stars involved in scuffles with netizens meddling with their personal lives and affairs or leaving hurtful comments. Celebrities have lately started clapping back at the rude and mean comments highlighting the person. It sometimes gets hard to ignore hate on social media, especially for public figures and celebrities. Well as we are aware that they are public figures and their life is not personal but it doesn’t give anyone the right to leave ruthless comments. Armeena Khan recently lashed out at netizens and certainly could not put up with their misogynistic comments and hate.
The Janan star took it to her gram and said
“I am a liberal, woke feminist’: If you don’t like Armeena Khan’s social media content, you can look elsewhere”
Armeena Khan exposed some comments on her social media, she shared screenshots of the hateful comments she had seen online where a user criticized her for the way she is dressed. It escalated to someone judging her faith and saying that, as a practicing Muslim, she “should cover” herself.
Well this social media bullying and moral policing have become quite common and there is no end to it, there is no law for it. But it is affecting the lives of many, it should stop!
Like they say charity begins at home. We should restrain from leaving hateful comments on anyone’s posts, even if we do not like it!
