Armeena Khan honored servicemen by sharing an old photo. While some of us are honoring Pakistan Air Force (PAF) heroes Nauman Ali Khan and Hasan Siddiqui, Armeena Khan is honoring her father.
Nauman Ali Khan and Hasan Siddiqui are the PAF heroes who shot down two Indian jets that violated Pakistani airspace by transgressing the Line of Control (LOC). While these heroes deserve special acknowledgment, all servicemen are our heroes.
Armeena Talks About Her Soldier-Father
Armeena Khan posted an old yet memorable picture of her particular hero, her father who was also a serviceman.
The actress gave particular credit to her father for teaching her the value of peace.
“Sharing a picture of my father for the very first time. A real #Sherdil! Who taught me the value of peace. This is one of the reasons why I advocate peace and not war because I love my dad and our servicemen. I wouldn’t want anything bad to ever happen to ANY of them around the world.”
The Sherdil actress prayed for the long life of her father and all our heroes fighting for peace and Pakistan. Armeena Khan stuck to her “Peace, not War” slogan steadfastly.
The Janaan actress said that she does not want any harm to ever befall our brave servicemen.
Armeena Khan has been a peace advocate in the aftermath of the Pulwama attack and Balakot airstrike. She advocated the need for peace, and lauded the bravery of Kashmiris.
Today’s tweet is dedicated to all the Kashmiris. They have been so brave throughout all of this and deserve our love, compassion and an end to the ever present dangers in their lives. All human beings deserve to live in peace. My heartfelt prayers for them. #kashmir

Armeena also called out Bollywood warmongers, particularly Priyanka Chopra.
Keep getting asked on the whole Priyanka @UNICEF issue. I think Pakistan and the world is owed an apology. The refugee children you hold for photos deserve sincerity and not PR exploitation. Once you look into their eyes & see pain you will do everything to save peace. #notowar

“It is easy to advocate peace whilst the sun shines. When the storm rages, it is then your character, principles & values are tested. Will you turn your face into the wind and stand by what is right or will history find you wanting?” – Me #peace #saynotowar ❤️🤘🏻

One hopes that many other celebrities adopted the same mantra as Armeena Khan did, because peace, not war, is required for a better world out there.
