Arsalan Naseer, who took over the drama industry with the character of Hadi in Chupke Chupke, recently appeared in an interview with BBC Urdu. The comedian-turned-actor got candid and talked about the success of the drama and the popularity of #HaShi couple.

Speaking about Chupke Chupke, Arsalan revealed that the character of Miskeen was his favorite. Ali Safina played the role of Miskeen and there was a lot of criticism regarding his status as a ghar damaad (live in sons-in-law).

Addressing the criticism, Arsalan Naseer said,

“There were some scenes in which people thought that he is being treated like a servant and is bullied by the family members but it’s not like that. In fact, he plays a very important role. I enjoyed every scene which I performed with him because he is a very animated character.”

Talking about the hype of Hadi and Mishi, the actor said that people might have seen some kind of chemistry between them. In fact, one of his acquaintances told him that their faces ‘complement each other.’

“This sounds like a desi feedback to me where people suggest you to get married with someone who shares similar features like you. But the experience of working with Aymen was amazing. We were very comfortable working with each other and that shows on the screen. But the credit goes to the director and the writer who made these characters so beautiful. We just acted them out.”
