Veteran Pakistani actor Asif Raza Mir will be coming to HBO and we can’t be more excited about his new project.
American premium cable and satellite television network HBO has roped in the Pakistani actor for its upcoming TV series ‘Gangs of London.’
The news was first broken by his wife, Samra Raza Mir on social media. She sent a screenshot of the news on her Instagram story.
“Veteran actor Asif Raza Mir has signed a project with America’s premium cable network HBO. Epk contacted Asif Raza regarding exciting news and confirmation from him,” the Instagram post read.
The project was initially named ‘Gang of London’ but has now been changed to ‘London,’ she further revealed.
A Big Boost for the Pakistani Star
The Tanhayyan actor is already in London for the shooting of the 10-episode series. The series is expected to air on HBO this year. He will share the screen with the likes of David Bradley and Ray Panthaki.
Asif is one of the most prominent names of Pakistan’s television industry and has been a part of it since the 1980s. His son Ahad Raza Mir is now carrying on his legacy in the film industry.
The father-son duo was recently spotted in Toronto, Canada where Ahad is currently performing in a theatrical production of Hamlet.
