Lately, a lot of controversies, as well as mishaps, have been happening in concerts with women and families being harassed by the crowd. Performing singers publically call out the miscreants from the stage and school the crowd to behave while being at the concert. Many singers, particularly Atif Aslam and then Talha Anjum, Aima Baig called out harassers in the crowd. Recently, Asim Azhar too had to stop his performance to reprimand some boys for misbehaving at his concert.
The ‘Tera Woh Pyar’ crooner took it to his gram to clap back at the accusations of him pulling a ‘publicity stunt’. He shared the real reason behind adjourning his performance. Asim Azhar replied to the people dubbing it a publicity stunt.
“Whoever has come to a concert of mine knows that we tolerate anything but families being disturbed or harassed. With that being said, the guy I was addressing here did not say anything to me but he and his friends were drinking openly and making a family very uncomfortable”, wrote Asim Azhar.
“For people thinking this was a stunt can go and think whatever but I will keep calling out people who make my audience uncomfortable. Everything is visible from the stage, especially for me,” Asim Azhar concluded.
