Bakhtawar Bhutto Names Her Newborn Son After Late Grandfather, Uncle

The name of the baby is an ode to her late uncle and paternal grandfather.

Daughter of Pakistan’s Former President Asif Ali Zardari, Bakhtawar Bhutto recently embraced motherhood. Sharing the happy news with her fans and followers, Bakhtawar has been quite interactive on social media. The new mommy just revealed her newborn son’s name.

“Mir Hakim Mahmood Choudhry,”

She announced on Twitter

“Named after my late maternal uncle Mir and my late paternal grandfather Hakim Ali Zardari.”

She further revealed that the name of the baby is an ode to her late uncle and paternal grandfather.

On October 10th, 2021, the couple was blessed with a baby boy, they announced the good news on their social media handles.

Reacting to the news, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and his younger sister Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari welcomed their uncle and aunt titles with heart emojis.

‘Mamu’ Bilawal also shared a tweet.

Later, The new mom expressed her gratitude for everyone in a tweet

“Thank you for all the love and celebrations welcoming our little baby boy to the world. He was due Nov 8th but decided his own birthday and surprised us all on Oct 10th – currently in the NICU but getting stronger every day – do keep him in your prayers,”.

She tied the knot with Mahmood Chaudhry, the son of a US-based businessman, in January this year.

A PPP source said the baby was born in the United Arab Emirates
