Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s Wedding Festivities Begin With a Milad [Pictures]

Aunts of the bride, Faryal Talpur and Dr Azra Pechuho and other party members of the PPP were in attendance.

The wedding festivities of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari have begun in the City of Lights. A Milad function was held on Sunday at the Bilawal House, marking the beginning of the wedding events.

According to details, the Milad was a women-only gathering and it was attended by the aunts of the bride, Faryal Talpur and Dr Azra Pechuho and other party members of the PPP. MPA Shazia Karim Sang’haar shared the pictures from the event on her Twitter and wrote,

“Today, the Celebrations for Wedding Ceremony of Shaheed Muhatrma Benazeer Bhutto’s daughter, @BakhtawarBZ, began with the Blessed Kalam of ALLAH followed by praising our Beloved Prophet Mohammad S.A.W.S.”

 

“At the end of the Milad, special prayers were held for the success of Ms Bhutto-Zardari’s marital life,” a statement read.

Pictures shared on social media shows participants seated at a distance. They can be seen wearing face masks at the event as well.

When is Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari getting married?

The wedding schedule of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and UAE-based businessman Mahmood Chaudhry was released by the Bilawal House on Friday.

It was reported that a Milad function would be held on January 24 at the residence of the PPP leader, while a simple Mehndi ceremony is planned on January 27.

The Nikkah ceremony will be held on January 29 while the Barat is scheduled for January 30. A spokesperson from the Bilawal House also said that nearly 300 guests have been invited by the Bhutto family.

He also mentioned that PPP Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be suspending his political activities for a week to participate in his sister’s wedding.
