The second wave of COVID-19 is already taking the country by storm and sadly, renowned actor Behroze Sabzwari also fell victim to it.
This afternoon, Express Tribune reported that the veteran actor has tested positive for the novel virus and is currently under observation.
The media outlet talked to his son, Shahroz Sabzwari who confirmed that he got infected six days ago.
“His test came positive some six days ago and he is in the hospital since,” he said.
The Dil Ruba actor went on to reassure that his father is doing just fine, however he has been kept under observation because of his old age.
“He is not in the Covid ward because he is fine, but since he is above 60 he needs to be kept under observation.”
Shahroz also requested for everyone to pray for his father. He said that informing everyone is his family’s responsibility in these testing times.
“We are in a pandemic and it’s our responsibility to let everyone. We are following all the standard operating procedures and hoping things will get better soon.”
The whole family is self isolating, but since he is the only child, he has to go back and forth from his home to the hospital to keep a check on his father.
“I can’t sit idle because I am the only child. We’re all glad he is out danger now. But the initial days were tough, and we were all really worried. Now it’s all better and we hope it stays that way,” concluded the actor.
We hope that Behroze Sabzwari recovers soon and returns home in good health.
