Bilal Maqsood Pays Tribute to Halima Sultan with a Tune [Video]

This is nice.

Bilal Maqsood

Pets are just love and anyone who takes care of them and treats them well is the best person in the whole wide world. Bilal Maqsood is totally in awe of his cockatiel bird and he even plays music for her.

The Strings front-man shared a video on his Instagram where he played a Turkish tune on Baglama (a string instrument similar to Rabab) for his bird Halima Sultan.

“Trying to give my Halime a taste of her type of music!”

Just in case you’re still wondering, yes, Bilal named his pet bird after the famous heroine from Turkish TV series Dirilis Ertugrul! Now that we have cleared that up, let’s take a look at his video:

Halima Sultan is one lucky bird

Earlier this month, Bilal Maqsood asked his fans if he should call her Halima Sultan or not. It seems that he has grown attached to her and has finally decided to stick to the name.

“I’m thinking of calling her Halima Sultan! My family says no you can’t. What do you guys say?

Maqsood has been very active on social media in the past few months. Throughout the lockdown, he kept his fans posted through his music and paintings.

In June, he was diagnosed with COVID-19, but thankfully recovered well and kept himself entertained through art.
