Karachiites may fight with each other over petty things, but one thing that unites us all is biryani. We all know that Karachi is the king at serving delicious biryani and the you can never ever beat the taste which the City of Lights has to offer.
Biryani comes in all forms and we love them all very dearly but over the years we have faced this very grave issue – a crucial debate that defines you as a person. Okay, jokes aside, it’s about whether you prefer potatoes or no potatoes in the heavenly concoction of rice, meat and spices.

There are always two sides fighting over whether aalu belongs in the biryani and German Ambassador to Pakistan, Bernhard Schlagheck has sparked that debate yet again!
In a Twitter post, the ambassador praised Karachi ki biryani and said that ‘you can’t go wrong with it’.

He also said that he loved the combination with potatoes but then dropped the question we are all afraid to answer.
