YG Entertainment officials recently announced that BLACKPINK has exclusively signed a contract to continue their group activities. The statement read,

We have agreed not to proceed with additional contracts for [the members’] individual activities. We will do our utmost to support BLACKPINK’s activities, and we will cheer on the members’ individual activities with warm hearts.

While emphasizing their commitment to supporting BLACKPINK’s collective endeavors, the agency acknowledged the individual achievements of each member under their previous contract, which encompassed both group and solo projects.

Lalisa Manoban, recognized mononymously as Lisa, holds a prominent position as a Thai rapper, singer, and dancer within BLACKPINK. The girl group made their debut under YG Entertainment in August 2016, and since then, they have become global icons, leaving an indelible mark on the K-pop scene.
