British-Pakistani director Asim Abbasi has revealed the poster for his upcoming comedy series Count Abdulla.

The series, set to be aired on June 15, boasts an impressive cast including Arian Nik from The Bay, Jaime Winstone, and Nina Wadia.

Count Abdulla is a six-part horror comedy that revolves around the life of Abdulla Khan, a Muslim doctor in his mid-20s grappling with an identity crisis. Caught between the values of his religious mother and the carefree lifestyle of his secular friends, Abdulla’s life takes an unexpected turn when he is bitten by a vampire, portrayed by Jaime Winstone. Their comedic adventure begins, blending humor, horror, and cultural elements.

Asim Abbasi gained international recognition for his series Churails on Zee5 and his critically acclaimed film Cake in 2018. With Count Abdulla, Abbasi explores a new genre and promises an entertaining and unique storytelling experience.

The series is written by Kaamil Shah and produced by Hussain Casey Ahmed and Fudge Park Productions, with Phil Gilbert serving as the executive producer. Fans eagerly anticipate the release of Count Abdulla, which is scheduled to premiere on June 15, promising a delightful blend of comedy, horror, and cultural exploration.
