Bushra Ansari Apologizes to Amma and Fans [Video]

Hopefully the end?

Bushra Ansari

Bushra Ansari recently came under fire for bombarding drama critic Lubna Faryad (aka Amma) with hateful comments. She degraded Amma as a ‘cheap low-class person’, a ‘paindoo’, and even went as far as to call her corona.

As people showed their support for the reviewer, Amma came out with a video in which she addressed the criticism and schooled Bushra Ansari for disrespecting housewives.

Bushra Ansari Says She Overreacted

Now that the situation has cooled down a little, the Zebaish writer apologized to Amma and her fans for her social media outburst and explained why she reacted that way.

Taking to Instagram, Bushra Ansari said that when an artist, writer, director, or producer works on a project, it becomes a part of them. She said it was ‘like a child for them that they create with love for their audience’. Keeping this in mind, the actor said that it hurts when someone ridicules your hard work.

“I believe that everyone has a right to like or dislike our work but language is important.”

“I realize that last week, I overreacted and wrote harsh words on Instagram. In a moment, I realized my mistake and deleted it but in the time of social media, it became a tamasha and sadly, spread like fire,” she wrote.

Addressing her fans and the Munshi family, the actress said that she had no hard feelings for anyone. She expressed her regret for using harsh words and also advised her fans, media fraternity, and social media users to choose their words wisely to create a positive environment.

“The fact is my words were too harsh and I did not handle my anger well… I have always tried to uphold our values. And in the same manner, I want to show my fans and the younger generation that I am accepting my mistake.”

Following that, Galaxy Lollywood shared another video of Amma where she responded to Bushra Ansari’s post.

“With that let’s put all the bitterness behind and let bygones be bygone,” read the caption.
