The Pantone Color Institute has been helping several different brands from every field in developing a strong and powerful color presence. The biochemical company not only develops colors and sells them, but also provides in-depth research on how colors can affect brands and consumerism. Their color matching system has generated two top picks for 2021- Illuminating Yellow and Ultimate Gray.
Trend Forecasting
Pantone has been predicting a color of the year for the past two decades now. Last year, their pick for 2020 was the “timeless and enduring” Classic Blue.
As technology continues to race ahead of the human ability to process it all, it is easy to understand why we gravitate to colors that are honest and offer the promise of protection. Non-aggressive and easily relatable, the trusted Classic Blue lends itself to relaxed interaction. Associated with the return of another day, this universal favorite is comfortably embraced.
